Strikes and cliff-side restaurants

We've got a friend visiting from Canada -- in fact, the one who introduced us on the hike in Gatineau, Quebec last year -- and we're hoping she can get back to Paris in time for her flight home, despite the transportation strike that's on in France.

While we wait to figure out the trains, we've been touring around Nice and the surrounding area. Emily's been taking photos, which is great because she stuck her head in the pizza truck and took a photo of the place where all of these magical pizzas I post about come from. The other photo is of the restaurant where we had lunch yesterday in Gourdon.

  1. Wow, it's like you were on top of the world for your lunch!

  2. Gourdon has a view all the way to the sea. There's a windy ride to get there, but in the end, it's beautiful.
