Please help me understand this!
I'm trying to figure out this counter I put on the side of this blog, but I'm not quite sure what it's telling me! It counts people who subscribed as of yesterday, but not before. And it counts people who are using certain readers, but might not be counting people who are using other ones. So, I'm not sure how to understand these statistics and I have no idea how many people aren't being counted. Blah, blah, fascinating info for you all, I'm sure.
But, here's the deal: I need these numbers for my book pitch to show that there's some interest in this story. Hopefully, the numbers will then get me a big YES from a publisher who wants to make the story into a book. My agent now has the pitch (which is done!!!), but it would be great if we could add some blog numbers before we send it off.
So... if you've subscribed to this blog, please click on the title of this post to show that you exist. And then you'll be counted as a visitor. Subscribers are still welcome and appreciated (because that's another useful number), but having everyone click on this one post will give me one number I can add into my pitch. Which means all of you will be part of my pitch. Which means I won't be doing all of this alone.
So, if you want to help with my book pitch ... and help me through this new learning curve, please click on the headline of this post!!! Then I can get this mysterious number I'm having so much trouble interpreting...
And then, this will hopefully be the end of my exclamation marks and lame technical posts.
