We went on a hike near Nice that started at an 80 degree angle. And at the top of the gigantic hill (where we discovered many people had driven up a back road and parked their cars), we ran into a family gathering flowers a rocks on a little hike.
"Un souvenir de la montagne!" one boy yelled as he asked his mother if he could take one of the rocks home.
I thought... "That's what I want... a souvenir to bring back to Canada."
And then, on the way back down the gigantic hill, I stumbled upon this one... (photograph of note: forearm).
