The red dress...

I've been going through the photos from the French wedding and couldn't find any of me standing alone in my red dress, which probably means the party was a success. So, I've taken a photo of me standing with a few people, and I cut them out. Ha, ha! The rest of this photo, and the rest of the other photos, MUST be saved for the book. Wouldn't want to give away any surprises too soon!

Anyone who wants to see how it went will have to imagine it until then. For now, I've added in the full menu and a photo of our little hall...

  1. Oh, it's lovely! It doesn't weird and artificial like most wedding dress, know what I mean?

  2. Zhu: I had three or four tries at choosing my wedding dress since we had so many little celebrations. I couldn't really pull the artificial thing off since I did my own hair and often got ready last-minute. But, that's sort of the way I'd planned it.

And... we're done now! So... no regrets!!

  3. I agree...very natural...it's a very pretty dress. Who needs all the extravaganza when you're having your wedding celebrations in romantic pretty France?

  4. Look at you in the red dress. Very nice choice. Your hair looks good too... I'm chuckling as I type because I do recall the conversations about the hair and the dress! Everything looks good.

  5. Carmen: Exactly! Well, I had the same theory for the party we had in Canada, but ... yeah!

Tanya: Can you believe it?? Those conversations are OVER! Our year-long party project is done!

  7. Anita (above): eBay? I looked at some sites, but wasn't sure I was brave enough to guess the right dress size.
Gatineau Park? What a perfect setting! I'm sure it was lovely.
