And then when I came home, I realized that I still had some pictures I hadn't posted from the Carnaval de Nice -- pictures of beer.
After the Carnaval, the Prof. and I wandered into Le Big Ben Pub, a little British bar near the port and ordered some beer cocktails. I'd never heard of them before, but something like it is apparently even available in Canada: here. (Muskoka Cottage Brewery has Double Chocolate Cranberry and apparently a new orange juice beer the way -- it's at least an interesting experiment. Thanks for the heads-up, Carmen!)

And I just bought a case of the mandarin orange amber ale - but will try it this weekend! It doesn't look as orange as the Muskoka one!

I think the straw was the problem... goes straight to your head! Mine was good, but the banana whiskey one (or whatever the Prof had) was a little ... dense? Not quite my thing.

Yes, the look of the banana whiskey one looks a bit weird to me! But they have the fruit beer on the menu!
