We went on a long hike on Saturday and then drove to the centre of Nice -- Place Masséna -- for the evening show of the Carnaval de Nice. I'm posting a few photos and a little video I took with a small, slightly amateur still camera I'd brought with me. I'll add a few more photos to the Lovely Awkward facebook page this afternoon.

Kerry: How's the weather over in Nice these days? It's still very cold and wet in Vancouver....I hope spring is on its way! I can still remember the heat and sun in Nice in the past July.
