After our fondue dinner and after my mittens had been lost forever (left under a cafe table with, as I mentioned, a view on Notre Dame), we came across this Christmas window display at BHV (bay-ash-vay). The longer we looked at this department store display... well, the more we thought it was crazy -- specifically, the window in which Santa was cut in half.

Strange Santa displays in Paris
After our fondue dinner and after my mittens had been lost forever (left under a cafe table with, as I mentioned, a view on Notre Dame), we came across this Christmas window display at BHV (bay-ash-vay). The longer we looked at this department store display... well, the more we thought it was crazy -- specifically, the window in which Santa was cut in half.

You've got to love the French. They're so...joyful at Christmas time.
ReplyDeleteJoyful? I guess you could say that. Ha. At least Santa is getting his feet tickled. Wait. No, that's a bad thing.
ReplyDeleteYes. Joyful. In a circus sort of way.
Come Home!!! Tree is up -- but need you (both) to finish it off!!!

Aw. I miss sleeping under the tree with the cats.
ReplyDeleteSo far, we have no Christmas decorations at home at all, but Nice is filled with lights, pine trees and fake snow.
