Scooting around town

Some images I took of Nice while driving around on the scooter yesterday.

  1. Oh, just because THESE roads look flat... don't think that these rides are easy. I live in the MOUNTAINS... and those roads are skinny while the turns are crazy hard!

  2. Very beautiful Kerry. I wish we had the attention to detail in our architecture and roads. I remember sitting at the window of my hotel in Paris, and looking at the condo building across the street for an hour, just in shock at how pretty concrete can be. You are so lucky to have the opportunity to live there, and experience that everyday. Coupled with your awesome tale of romance, I'm so jealous I could punch you in the stomach, hahaha.

  3. Ron, maybe you should have added the fact that you're my friend and that you know I could take you in a fight... for that end comment.
Don't you have a bunch of fancy new architecture out west?

  4. That's the problem, it's NEW! I, like my father before me, love the antiquity in life. The older something is, the better. From appearance to quality "They just don't build 'em like they used to". Goodness I'm sounding like an old man. Let me clarify, I would never punch anyone in the stomach, I dislike violence. My final comment was meant for the effect of demonstrating how jealous I am that you get to live in France, and yes you could take me for sure. BC is very beautiful geographically, and I love it here. But France (Paris, anyway) was the most beautiful city I have ever visited.
