We're on the move... making our way to another city in Spain. The clouds are low today and the fishing boats have come in closer to shore. They're making noise with their fog horns. Hopefully the Professor and I will soon follow the sunshine along the coast.
Last night we had a birthday date planned, but then decided to go out with a group of people. I ended up with a round of peach-flavoured shots rather than a birthday cake (which were passed around the table, not just for me), but I guess that's an appropriate way to celebrate in Spain.
For my birthday present, I asked the Professor for a sentence.
J'ai demandé, "Une phrase. Au moins cinq mots, sans e et sans a."
As I'm starting to do with many of the more exciting details from our little romance (I hope there are more exciting details than just this!), I'm saving it for the book -- which I'm going to set to work on again right after I go for a quick swim in the pool.
