Your hometown is being destroyed

OK. So far, I didn't get any answers. But it's actually a really interesting discussion topic. I mean, for the person giving the answers. If your hometown were going to be destroyed and you could go back one last time, what would you do? Your first answer might be good... but really think about it. This is my favourite topic for around the campfire.

I would take pictures. I would climb on top of my school like I did as a child and throw all of the lost balls off the roof. I would drive and map out everything in my head to make sure the information is there. I would... keep going, but I think I might be doing this to delay working on my France book.

Back in a bit. I seem to have deadlines everywhere now (scooter included if you read below).

  1. I would walk throuogh the woods nesr my home, savouring every last minute and then I would gather up all the people I love - family and friends and move on to new adventures.

  2. Lovely! That's definitely a great thing to do. I guess I'd also try to visit places where memorable conversations, adventures or experiences happened, but it would take some time to think of them all.

  3. I'll swim in the ocean, try floating in the ocean. Oh, I'd definitely try to write and put messages in bottles and throw them out into the ocean as well. Have you ever tried that?

Also, get to the top of the mountains and absorb the spectacular views of Vancouver...
