Love, oranges and the open road
Our mandarins are ready!!
The Professor has been calling the mandarins we're growing on the terrace "the kids." While I was in Canada, he sent me the occasional email telling me, "Hurry up and come home, the kids are asking after you." It's a strange joke, but I think it's hilarious. So hilarious that I told my sister, who bought a sweater for one of the kids for Christmas and sent it in the mail from British Columbia.
Here's what should have been our Christmas card.
The other thing that's new is the scooter I mentioned. My new ride. Before the Professor left for work today, he told me I could take it out and ride it around. But, I haven't even had a lesson! I'm not doing that!! Luckily, I have an excuse. When he left, he forgot that I only have one of the keys to the garage, not both. So, even if I were brave and stupid (which hopefully, I'm not), I wouldn't be able to take it out on my own.
I just want one ride, with him driving, before I hit the road alone.
