I went to a little dinner party last night where I was told that the government, although prorogued, is busy hating my blog.
Apparently at one time, government employees with a little time on their hands (no judgement being made, I used to work for the government, too), were able to look at what I was writing and posting. I'm not sure if my readership will help me with my book deal, but having more people reading wasn't hurting my cause.
Until the government got wind of these romantic ideas I've been spreading around...
And now I've been blocked! No access from government computers! I'm on a list somewhere... singled out, sectioned off and banned.
My first thoughts were that I might have accidentally posted an email with a swear word in it. Or that they were blacklisting the South African model who has the same name as me (which could still be true). But in the end, I don't really know what's going on.
I'm pretty sure that I'm working for our country here as I prepare to bring Canadian traditions and pronunciations to the south of France. At least, that's what my book proposal says.
Don't be a hater, dear Government of Canada.
How is that possible?
