Final day of visa prep

Working my way through the visa checklist so I can make my way to Toronto tomorrow. I hope I've got all of this right...

Gathered so far:

-letter from OHIP
-letter from bank that says I'm not a deadbeat
-three photos of me
-photocopy of passport
-return ticket information
-proof of medical insurance
-letter to the consulate
-checklist (the checklist is on the checklist??)

And... done! Wow. Am I always this slow with paperwork?

  1. Make sure you make at least 3 copies of EVERY document lol the French embassy are super intense/crazy lol and believe me, you don't want to make a million trips back and forth. Bonne chance !

  2. Wow. What a good idea! They seem very, VERY specific... I should make sure I'm already ahead of their requests!

Over Christmas, the Prof's family and I talked about how numbers are written differently in France and in Canada. I'm using the French way on my application. Do you think it will get me extra points?

  5. OK. The list is almost complete. Just a few more things to add...

-readiness to jump the queue (OH WAIT -- Halle Berry, you ruined it! http://www.cbc.ca/arts/story/2010/01/08/montreal-halle-berry-seen-cutting-customs-lineup.html)
