Same idea, different take

The weather is cold for Florida, but in pictures, it still looks the same. Found them at the zoo.

Yesterday, the Professor pointed out that I am slowly developing a wrinkle between my eyebrows, above the bridge of my nose. He pointed it out and I said, "Hmpf" (the sound of indignation) and just looked at him, wondering if saying such things is cool in France.

Then he clarified, "I like watching your face. I'm going to know it very well so you must get used to the fact I'll notice even the smallest change. I'm going to be looking at this face for a very long time."

Ah, he's lovely.

On the eve of the French family Christmas. I'm in an area where there's no snow, but I'm excited nonetheless. It's about time that I shook up some of my traditions.
